Listen in, listen Ian!
I went to Border's at lunchtime, and there was a sign saying that all diaries and calendars were £2, so I got A Doctor Who calendar, and a Time Out diary, except when I got to the till they said "Oh, those diaries are full price." So DON'T put up a lying sign saying that all diaries are two quid then. TSK.

It's probably not worth getting any more annoyed about this, and moaning to head office is it? Or will they send me a load of vouchers to compensate me for my inconvenience?

Also, the calendar isn't as good as last year's.

Funnily enough, I had this exact same experience in Borders in Glasgow today, although I had noticed the price sticker discrepanices before selecting my purchase, and so picked stuff with £2 stickers on thus saving myself the crushing disappointment/inevitable annoyance. Although I was still disappointed/annoyed that all the sh*t calendars were £2, and all the good ones were either full price or not priced at all.

Maybe we should front a double pronged attack.

if they had a sign that said ALL diaries - they're legally obliged to sell it to you. it's the LAW.

my mate got a DVD/tv combo for the price of just the tv cos they incorrectly labelled it.

Naah, they don't have to. The £2 thing doesn't constitute an offer of a contract - that happens when you take it to the till and offer to buy it for £2.
