Listen in, listen Ian!

This is a cake I made last week that I didn't get to eat any of, because it was for a softball team-mate's birthday happening at a game I couldn't play in. That scummy looking hob in the background has been cleaned tonight, and you could now eat your dinner off it, or at the very least cook on it without risk of botulism.

This is a building nobody could identify at the picnic on Saturday afternoon. Any ideas?

This puts it in a bit of geographical context - it's the one about a third of the way from the right, and a third of the way from the bottom in this one.

I should rly go to bed now, I suppose.

Not that I'll have an answer anyway, but . . . which way was the camera pointing?

Kind of south-sout-west, from Primrose Hill.

Hmm, might be the Masonic lodge near Drury Lane?

It looks a lot like that, but I think it's in the wrong place - it's taken from Primrose Hill, and the big netting thing is the aviary in the zoo. I'd have thought Drury Lane was off to the left.

The context incidentally is that the BT tower is just off slightly to the left of the last photo, so this is roughly in the direction of Hyde Park/Kensington Gdns.

GIS sez: it's the clock tower on the old Abbey National HQ on Baker Street. It's some luxury flats now.
