Listen in, listen Ian!
I've been sent a Word document which shows all the revision history, and I can't work out how to turn it off so it just shows the current stuff. Everything I find on the interweb mentions buttons that I don't have on my Revision Toolbar. Help!

I'm in Word 2000 by the way.

Tools, Track Changes?

I HATE IT when I get a doc with that on it, and I'm sure that's how I usually turn it off. I've a feeling that it still appears there, until you save it as another file or print it. Meh.

Ah yes, that let me accept all the changes and they vanished. Ta.

The other thing you can do (although this may only be in later version of Word, can't remember off the top of my head) is ask for it to show you the 'Final' version, rather than 'Final showing markup'.
