Listen in, listen Ian!
Dilemma: I want a drink of orange squash, but am too lazy to go and get one.

Situation: Adrian who sits next to me has gone home for the day, and left a half-full1 glass of orange squash on his desk.

How skanky would it be to drink that?

The skank factor is increased by the spread of swine flu. He might have germs!

note that if you'd said "left half a pint of gin and tonic" or similar, my answer would be very different, and amend as you will.

That's different. Everyone knows gin kills all known germs DEAD.

Depends entirely on why he's gone home for the day, I'd say. If it's Swine 'Flu then, probably not a great plan. Otherwise, go for it!

If no-one else would see you, and you're reasonably sure he has no communicable diseases, go for it.

My standards re this kind of thing are, if you'd be happy to kiss the person, then it's fine.

IAWTC. But perhaps if Tim had drunk it he would have been required to kiss the bloke tomorrow?

How comes he's gone home for the day then? Did he go home clutching his stomach after drinking the first half?

Skanky. Is that 1 or 10?

1 is the most skanky, 10 is the least skanky.

No, that's the wrong way round: 1 = least skanky, 10 = most skanky.
