Listen in, listen Ian!
The news is stupid today. Big surprise there, obv.

When will these so-called 'doctors' find a cure for the real problems:

"This research is really quite exciting for women with loving partners whose loss of libido is a physical thing. But it is not going to fix a broken relationship or help with looking after the kids or cleaning the house."

Also, £50m revamp for 'worst stations'. On the face of it, excellent, but we're told that "The money will be spent on improving facilities such as car parks and shops."

A large part of Manchester Victoria is closed off because the glass roof isn't safe. One of Manchester's finest Victorian buildings is in a severe state of disrepair, and getting worse. So obviously, what they need is a branch of Claire's Accessories.

Because, of course, Clapham Junction doesn't need improved access and movement between the platforms, good heavens no. Certainly not basic platform facilities such as toilets, no way. What is clearly needed is some kind of enlargement to the existing Sainsbury's and other shops which are already situated in the station. Genius.

In no sense. I could just as easily have said Thorntons, Paperchase or any of the marvellous shops that clog up our railway stations.

Amazing how antidepressants stop being Evil Tools Of The Man when they make women more sexually available. It's like how that one magically stopped having side-effects when people used it to quit smoking.

I... might actually take that, if it were available. Though I'm taking buspirone to do the same job. Which is that SSRIs kill my sex life, like they kill everybody's sex life. But since they're not talking about the antidepressant side of it, and therefore it has become magically side-effect- and interaction-free, I dunno if it's safe and/or worth it. Should probably stick with the buspirone.
