Other business. [Mar. 5th, 2010|03:58 pm]
Listen in, listen Ian!
I've finally got round to buying and listening to the Au Revoir Simone album from last year, and it's very good. It's kinda like what B&S would be like if every somg was like Electronic Renaissance, which is a good thing.

Also, this bit of messing around with George and Lynne strips made me laugh, probably more than it should.

I have no idea what that means. Is it a Canadian thing, like poutine?

Your avatar I mean, the pig head on a plate, which reminded me of the novel lord of the flies.

Aw man. Ta for that George and Lynne link. I've just cried laughing, much to the puzzlement of my hosts who don't get it at all.

...Really? comedy gold.

Thing is, despite laughing lots at it, I don't really get it myself.

Using repetition is in itself inherently funny. Reducing it to surrealism just makes the sauce thicker. A joy. I'm going to print some of it off for my wall.
