Listen in, listen Ian!
Hello. Me again. I seem to be going a bit LJ crazy today don't I. Anyway, I wanted to mention that I went to see the birdies at the Barbican this evening, and it was terrific. The fact that they played the guitars was good, but the best thing was that the birds were so unbothered by the people you could just watch them doing their thing. Some of them had built nests on the guitars, and were being all territorial - either the male or the female would chase off any other male that landed on the guitar, but other females seemed to be accepted. They'd also nested in odd other places around the gallery, like on a fire alarm, and a fire extinguisher. It's great, srsly, go and see it if you can. It's on until May 23rd. eyekiller, you'd definitely like it.

Also, the byline on this story.

Also also1, difficult difficult lemon difficult. Well done Mr Scherer!

Also also also, it's Easter next week! Hoorah! I love Easter, because I get to go home and meet up with school friends who also go home, and climb up a hill. And I'm taking S up this year to meet the family, which is nice. And the train strike won't affect me. I'm alright Jack! <3 Bob Crow!

Right, bed.

1At work I had to investigate a problem with a data import I'm doing where the word 'Dear' had turned up in an output field when it should have been stripped out of the input field. I had a look, and the contents of the input field was 'Dear Dear Mr Smith'2. Thanks.

2Not Smith rly, but client confidentiality and that.

Oh, I'm glad to hear the birds are nesting successfully! They were trying to when we saw them, but the little bits of straw kept falling off the guitars, and some of them were really incompetent. Well done tiny birds!
