Listen in, listen Ian!
Gosh. It's approaching the time when I normally arrive at work, and I've been here nearly two hours. I'm quite excited about going home at four. I'll be home in time to see the horror of Hornsey High Street just after the Greig City Academy (Achievement in a Christian Community) kicks out - a scene slightly less dignified than after the average small town nightclub kicks out. It's great, they have police at the bus stops and everything, and the dirty chicken shop does a roaring trade.

It was such a nice weekend, wasn't it? Yesterday I went for a walk along the bit of the New River which is near me. It was great, I saw cormorants, and watched a coot building a nest, or rather reinforcing a nest that already had an egg in it. I was going to go to look at the Railway Fields nature reserve which is at the other end of that stretch of river, but I found out when I arrived that its opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9-5pm. Great, thank's Haringey council. No, people with jobs don't want to go and look at the Nature reserve, of course not.

Ah, and there was this as well:

That was lovely.

Looked at your link to Grieg City Academy - when I was at school in Haringey in the 90s, that school was called Saint David's and Saint Katherine's (D and K for short) and it was really rough!
