Moral dilemma [Jan. 25th, 2011|07:56 pm]
Listen in, listen Ian!
Between christmas and the new year I ordered a frying pan from the Debenhams sale online. It had been sent but hadn't arrived in the middle of last week so I got in touch with them to chase it up. They were very apologetic, said it must have got lost in transit and refunded my money.

It arrived today. Do I tell them? Bear in mind when answering that the receptionist had to sign for it when it arrived.

Yes? I feel I'm missing something here, in so far as it's a moral dilemma.

I'd tell them. I'd grr a bit at the mess the order turned out to be, but I wouldn't be comfortable not telling them.

I'd tell them. They might well say "oh, never mind" and not charge you again.

tell them. Anyway, they might just let you keep it for nothing.
