Desert Island biscuits! [Mar. 10th, 2011|11:09 am]
Listen in, listen Ian!
You get to choose eight biscuits, a chocolate bar and a luxury food item.

What is your first biscuit?

What is your second biscuit?

What is your third biscuit?

What is your fourth biscuit?

What is your fifth biscuit?

What is your sixth biscuit?

What is your seventh biscuit?

What is your eighth biscuit?

If the tide came in, and threatened to sweep your biscuits out to sea, which biscuit would you save?

I'm going to let you have a big bar of Dairy Milk, and a big bar of Galaxy, but which other chocolate bar would you like?

And your chosen luxury food item is?

Every single one of my biscuits is either Australian, or one I make myself. Pull your socks up Britain, apparently your commercially produced biscuits just aren't good enough.

Ooh, I forgot jaffa cakes. But any fule no, jaffa cakes are Cakes and not Biscuits. I'm pretty sure kitkats aren't biscuits either, Mr ruudboy.

It's biscuits. Not, like...

I don't like biscuits that much. Not enough to remember them.

I kept clicking up until I saw you go "Uh... I've run out of biscuit types" and that'll teach me.

All of mine but one are US American -- I think people may imprint on the biscuits of their childhood.

Maybe, but I was in Hong Kong and Malta in my childhood. Not big biscuit nations. Maybe more of a teenage thing for me. Chocolate hobnobs weren't invented until I was 18.

If it lives in the bicuit tin, it's a biscuit. Hence, Kit Kats.

Kitkats don't last long enough to get to the biscuit tin :-) Plus they are individually wrapped.

I have just received a telegram from Doctor Dre. He says that I didn't forget him, but I did forget Tim-Tams, and as a result he's unfriending me on Facebook.

Hah, so we are! I am it is true happiest with some chocolate and a little ginger, but a discreet veil will have to be drawn at that point.

I'm fairly sure tea would count as a staple rather than a luxury! (Well, in this country, anyway.)

I was very daunted by this poll but now I have learned that I like at least eight varieties of biscuit! Thanks, Tim!

Oh also I agree that "Galaxy and Dairy Milk are functionally equivalent"!

NO. Galaxy is far better. I will swap with other desert islanders if possible.

I also misunderstood and thought he wanted another of this type of chocolate bar. Otherwise I would have surely said Starbar :(

I'll give you my Galaxy if I can have your Dairy Milk.

You can change a poll answer - just go to the poll (click on its number) and hit 'fill out poll' again.

Hurrah biscuits. I am very pleased to have remembered many more biscuits, especially the stem ginger one with or w/o chocolate, which are truly lovely and I really should have remembered. But I'm happy enough with my list.

It is nice to see that you put Blue Riband, Tim. They are a staple food in the diet I am currently on!
