Listen in, listen Ian!
A couple of weeks ago a circular from my "local Lib Dem team" appeared on the notice board in the hall of the building my flat is in, with a lot of hand wringing about the recent disturbance on the high street. I wasn't aware of the disturbance, but I was pleased to note from the circular that my councillors were busy making a nuisance of themselves with the police, as it's nice for them to get out of the house.

Anyway, I've found what the disturbance was - the customers at an antisocially noisy local bar didn't take kindly to being sent home - and a small riot broke out. I only mention this really, because "Acting Sergeant Kneebone" is the best name I've seen in a local paper story for ages. Acting Sergeant Kneebone!

Acting Sergeant Kneebone has to be someone from a Terry Pratchett novel. They just have to be.
