Listen in, listen Ian!
So, last night I messed around with computers, putting a new hard disc in the Windows PC and installing Windows 200 again on it so that I could rescue the data files from the disc which wouldn't boot any more. I now have a PC on which I can play The Sims, and Foorball Manager when it arrives. Until the next time I have to reinstall. I'm fed up of every windows installation I have ever had eventually getting into a state where it just refuses to boot and I have to reinstall. I wouldn't need to bother if it weren't for my phone - it's about the only thing I have which will only talk to Windows these days. Even most of the games I like seem to come out on the Mac.

What else? Not much. I went to town at lunchtime and spent nearly £20 on magazines. Oh, and http://www.play.com are processing my order for the Seinfeld DVD box set, so that should give me something to do at the weekend. And my parents are going away for the weekend too so I have the house to myself. Party, anyone?

It's Football Manager 2005.

SI, the development team split up with Eidos, the distributors after CM 4. So retained the code base, which is now called Football Manager. CM5 has been developed by someone else, and has been delayed in any case so there's no risk of accidentally buying it.

Anyway, yes. I've been playing the demo on the Mac.
