I've posted my tax return this lunchtime, and am now naturally nervous that the post office is going to fvck the whole thing up and not deliver it promptly, making me get a hundred pound penalty. But no, surely the tax people wouldn't be so unreasonable as to not accept a plea of it being the post office's fault would they?

Food news: I made black pudding mash last night, as adapted from a recipe by West Yorkshire's finest chef1. After mixing the black pudding and the mash, I put cheese on top and stuck the whole lot under the grill, and it was great. I strayed into Burger Kinge at lunchtime and discovered that they have something called a double rodeo burger, which involves onion rings and barbecue sauce, and very good it was too. Also, you pour your own drink now! It wasn't clear if you're allowed to go back for refills, so I didn't. I don't suppose you are, otherwse nobody would buy the large size drink would they?
