Listen in, listen Ian!
I went to Blackheath on my bike this morning. I managed to get about halfway up Blackheath Hill without stopping, which is pretty good for me really. I think being able to get all the way up without stopping is a good an realistic target to aim at. I ought to cycle more.

Blackheat Village is lovely, isn't it. I got a good haul in the Oxfam shop (three books and a grow your own flesh eating plants kit (not suitable for children under 5 years old) which was reduced from £6.99 to £1.99 so I couldn't really not buy it could I? I bought sausages in the nice looking butcher's shop, and bread and pate in the quite expensive really little mini-market - not yer average convenience store. Incidentally, you know those little Soil Association stickery things you get on organic bread - are they edible?

After that I stopped off at Blackheath Point to take a few photos, and watch a load of black smoke rising over Bermondsey. Now I'm at home watching the tennis, and using the not-at-all shallow way of thinking traditional when watching tennis, I'm cheering on Justine Henin-Hardenne because Amelie Mauresmo appears to look like a man. What?

Yes, they are made of rice paper. Please don't take said loaf of bread to your Environmental Health Department to complain about it. You will be laughed at. (Yes, someone actually did this when I worked in my previous job. People can be stupid).
