Put the biscuits into a plastic bag and bash them with a bottle of wine, or similar.

I thought about using a bottle, but I don't really trust myself not to miss the bag, and smash the bottle on the worktop.

You don't need to smash, just roll it over the bag in a crushing fashion.

Tin can, heavy book, hammer, clean shoes (with biscuits inside a bag each time, obv.)

Small sturdy dog, like terrier or similar.

Probably too late now but there's a fab kitchenware shop on either Broadway or Park Road (not sure at what point the name changes.) From the outside it looks like your basic pound store full of tat, but it's actually quite classy inside.

I went in there. They'd sold out of wooden rolling pins, but had some silicone ones that were over £10, so I didn't bother.
