Listen in, listen Ian!
Oh, fvcking marvellous. I've just spent about an hour and a half scanning a load of old photos in, and I had a wrong setting in the scanning software so they scanned in about 8 colours. Grr. And when I pick the right setting for some reason the bit where you select the bit on the preview that you want to scan becomes more difficult to use. Does anyone know any decent free scanning software for the Mac?

I did find a list of in jokes in computer books though.

Love the jokes. Can't help with the software.

The H.E. Mac-supporters list seems to reccomend this: http://www.hamrick.com/

Sadly it doesn't fulfil your criterion of being free, sorry.

Ooh, it can be fully tested before I buy it though. That'll do.

(This is going to be one of those things where "fully tested" means that it will do at most 20dpi isn't it?)
