Listen in, listen Ian!
I'm making Toad in the Hole! Hurrah!, and as I was adding the batter to the tin, I was reminded of the Lee and Herring bit where Stew says to Rich "That's because it's batter Rich" but I can't place it at all. What's the context?

Also, I remembered a chocolate bar that I don't think they make any more. Do you remember Toffee Cup. I think they were made by Rowntree's before they were sold to The Nazi PartyNestlé. Do you remember them? DO YOU?

I remember it well.

I'm pretty sure they were actually called GOLDEN Cup, and yes, they were made by Mackintosh's before Rowntree's took them over, the same as Rolos were.

The Lee and Herring quote was probably the "imagine if other products used the branding style of 'I Can't Believe It's Not Butter'" thing that everyone was doing in the mid-nineties.
