So, the
security staff didn't overreact
because it was just unprovoked trouble,
and not the result of overcrowding which was Manchester United's fault
because they sent the tickets out too soon allowing them to be forged.
That's okay then. Everyone singing from the same hymn sheet there and
coming up with a totally reliable story.

As I'm sure you're probably aware, it's rare enough that I'd be on United's side over anything, but this joke of a club have acted absolutely appallingly over every possible aspect of this situation.

And I know the crowd stuff is far more important (since it involves potential loss of life if things had got as bad as they might have done) than the on-pitch stuff, but they've been similarly pathetic in calling for a replay because a single decision - a decision that was completely within the laws of the game, no less - went against them...

So the fact that the game being staged at another club's home ground has nothing to do with it...

This week I find myself wishing SAF had a blog - would be nice to read from people who are even angrier than me about the whole sorry mess.
