Friday afternoon [May. 18th, 2007|04:04 pm]
Listen in, listen Ian!
I'm bored, so here is what I think is a complete list of all the
restaurants I've been to since I moved to London. If you know different -
ie I've been somewhere with you that isn't listed here - then please tell
me. It is a bit vague where I've just followed people to places without
noticing the names.

"Indian"/curry:

Ravi Shankar's on Drummond Street
Great Nepalese, Eversholt St (hmm)
Aanya, Crouch End
The one on Brick Lane that I went to after the Gallion's Reach tube walk,
and for tjej's birthday. I can't remember the name.
Leytonstone Tandoori
Generic nameless curry places in Loughton and Golders Green that we went to
after Tube Walks.
Bombay Bicycle Club, Balham

Tapas:

La Bota, Crouch End
La Pedrera, Hornsey

Japanese:
Abeno, Museum Street
Hi! Sushi, Soho
Kulu Kulu Sushi (Soho, Covent Garden)

Chinese:

That one in Brixton
The buffet place up some stairs on Wardour Street.
The buffet place on Newport Place.
The buffet place on Great Portland Street.
The buffet place in Greenwich.
Parton Street?
New World, Chinatown

Vegetarian:

Mildred's, Soho
Carnevale's, near the Barbican.

Miscellaneous:

Pappagone's, Stroud Green
The excellent Turkish place in Muswell Hill
The Ivy
Mongolian BBQ, Covent Garden
Korean BBQ, Newman Street
Thai buffet place on Old Compton Street
S&M Cafe
Bodean's
A fish restaurant in Greenwich whose name I forget
Pick More Daisies, Crouch End
Dutch Pancake place on High Holborn

Chain type places:

La Tasca
Gourmet Burger Kitchen
Yo! Sushi
Wagamama's

I've also eaten in a number of pubs but I can't be bothered listing those
for now. I don't think food courts ie Oriental City count either.

It's called Pradera, Timbo.

Anyway, talking of tapas, you must try Mar-i-terra in Southwark. It's top. And Navarros on Charlotte St.

You mean you've never gone to the Standard Balti House (unless this is your mystery Brick Lane one)? Dude, they give you PENS!
