Listen in, listen Ian!
Michael Helseltine,
Does not buy a Big Issue,
On Charing Cross Road.

He looked like he was going to visit the CBI from the look of his road
crossin manouevres at the Centre Point junction. Perhaps Gordon Browns will
give him a job in the cabinet!!!!!eleven

Woo! Huge win, especially as we were playing a man short, which is a pretty
big handicap in this game, and the umpire didn't help a lot either, at one
point changing a decision just because the other team asked him to. At the
risk of blowing my own trumpet, I pitched pretty well considering the
conditions, with the wind making it very hard to get the ball over the
plate at times. The wind also robbed me of a big hit, when I whacked a big
fly ball over the outfielder's head down the left field line, but it got
blown foul, and then on the next pitch I grounded out weekly. I still went
2-3 with 2 walks though.

After the game I caught the bus into town for the diggerdydum
meet. Man, Clissold Park has a rotten old variety of bus services doesn't
it? It was quite a good ride though, it went through bits of London I've
never seen before, down to Stoke Newington Green - blimz0r, it's very
Turkish round there innnit? Turkish restaurants are ace. - and along Essex
Road. Clissold Park's a great place to play softball though - I've never
played anywhere else where you can watch swans between innings.
