Listen in, listen Ian!
eyekiller's shop. I was going to come home and spend the day doing housework but somehow I ended up hanging around there until she shut up, and then we went and had a spot of lunch. I eventually got home at about 4 o'clock, and had a nap on the sofa for an hour or so, which is a much more civilised way of spending Saturday than doing housework really.I've had a nice quiet weekend. Yesterday I went out in the morning to go to the delivery office to pick up a couple of recorded delivery letters, then drop off a CD at |
Today then I've been doing a couple of loads of washing, and sorting out more of the stuff that I still haven't unpacked since moving here 10 months ago - there's some of it I haven't unpacked since moving to London 2 years ago. I've filled a black bag with rubbish from it, but it's made a tiny dent on the overall amount of Stuff. Some of the Stuff is a bit better sorted now though - I know exactly where my P45 is which I'll need when I do my tax return, and I expect to find my P60 too later. I'll put that with the P45, then I might do my tax return absurdly early so that I can look smug come the end of January. I also found 3000 yen, which appears to be about 12 quid. That'll be why I never bothered changing it back then.
The heavy rain this afternoon revealed a leak:
Other photos of note are Anya being a big softy:
and my multi-headed sunflower:
Cool. I've never had one with more than one flower on it before. I'm going to harvest and roast the seeds this year.
The other thing I've done today is book flights to Barcelona in September. Cool.
