Listen in, listen Ian!
Hello, the internet. I'm home from Edinburgh, and it was great and I want to go back for the next two weeks as well. Can you believe that it's four whole friggin' weeks till I get to go on holiday again? Apart from when I go to Blackpool for the weekend in the middle, but even so.|
Anyway, Edinburgh. I didn't really see anything bad, but the top unmissable shows that I saw, and that you'd be an idiot not to see yerself if you're going up there are:
Norman Lovett's Slide Show.
Josie Long, obviously.
Daniel Kitson, equally obviously, but that's sold out anyway.
I also saw the Kitson and the Long win their respective heats of the AQA quiz thing that's at midnight. I suppose whether you like whoever's on that night is the main thing that should make you decide whether to see that or not, but if a Kitson v Long heat turns up, then miss it at your peril, that would be glorious.
Oh, and go and see Arthur Smith's art exhibition too. I went this morning, and had to leave to catch my train before I'd seen it all, but the bits I did get to see were fantastic.
It seems that while I've been away a lot of you are worried that livejournal is dying. Honestly, can I not leave you to look after anything without you doing it a mischief while I'm away? Tsk.
Great post arrived for me while I was away though! Opera tickets!
