Listen in, listen Ian!
Oh great, well that's my fucking weekend ruined.

I know this will be meaningless to most of you but trust me, it's stupid. Really fucking stupid. When United sold Giuseppe Rossi to Villareal before the football season started I was a bit annoyed, because he's a good young player who has the potential to be a very good player, but at least they got a decent transfer fee for him. This is the equivalent of having done that, and got 50p for him.

"Lastings Milledge" doesn't look or sound like the name of a professional sportsman; to my eyes and ears it looks more suited to a spambot that incessantly sends out junk emails about V1agra and replica R0lex watches.

Names are a lrage part of the fun of American sport. Look, here's one who's a breakfast cereal!

Similarly, NFL players with silly names. My favourites are Plaxico Burress, Yamon Figurs and Syndric Steptoe (son not included)!

It's actually much less meaningless to me than that stuff you're saying about United. :) And yes, you have my condolences. Except I like a team that's nearly as pathetic, really.

Milledge's charge sheet:

1. He got excited when he hit his first ML home run.
2. He listens to rap music.
3. Um...

Baseball fans are all fucking idiots: apparently this is a great trade because Milledge "hasn't proved anything." Apart from hitting nearly as well in his age 22 season as Church has in his career. Church is a decent player, but what he is now is probably Milledge's downside. Schneider's a heap of shit, who had one good season throwing runners out and is therefore anointed a star defensive catcher. He "calls a good game", like there are ML catchers out there who call for a hanging curveball down the middle on a 3-1 count to Pujols. I'm going to go to sleep now, and when I wake up in the morning this will all have been a horrible dream.
