Listen in, listen Ian!
Brr. It was cold this morning. This was because I had a haircut last night,|
which turned out to be more drastic than I'd imagined it was going to be.
This is because I'm rubbish at hairdressers. I'm sure that last time I went
to Mr Topper I got a number 5, and it wasn't this severe. The drastic
haircut also made the hair/beard balance all wrong, so most of that had to
go when I got home.
At Finsbury Park station this morning, there was a group of three people
standing talking in front of the entrance to the tunnel under the station.
I mentioned to offensive_mango how it's hardly rocket science
that if you must stop and have a chat, it's not rocket science that you
don't do it in a confined space like that during the rush hour and she
mentioned that London's more agressive than other places. This maybe so,
but I think it's wrong to look at this as a flaw - London should capitalise
on this. In fact, I think London's new slogan should be "London - what the
fvck are you going to do about it?" and we can see where New York
goes from there.
