My Wikipedia Band! [Dec. 11th, 2007|12:09 am]
Listen in, listen Ian!
This is a great meme! I got it from miss_newham, I'm sure other people have posted it but I saw it there so she gets the credit. I've hardly read any livejournal today because I've spent most of tonight cooking meatballs and reading a discussion about the US election on a baseball website. I'm sure there's other stuff I should have been doing, but whatevs. Anyway, meme:

1. Go to the Wikipedia home page and click random article. That is your band's name.
2. Click random article again; that is your album name.
3. Click random article 15 more times; those are the tracks on your album.

My band is Lemuel P. Padgett
Our album is called Power of the Dark Crystal

Track listing:
1. Dragonfly Project
2. Peter Goldreich
3. Clayton Anderson
4. Abel Xavier [it's our album of biography, apparently.]
5. Henry Wildman
6. Ashu Rabo [see?]
7. List of highways numbered 10
8. Kathrin Ress
9. Miki Dallon
10. Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America
11. She people
12. 1917 in organized crime
13. Himalayan (cat)
14. Dinas Powys railway station
15. Erdős-Rényi model

Himalayan (cat) sounds good. A bit lo-fi that, I reckon.

With so many peoples' names in there, I'd like to think it was a Sonic Youth kind of affair, with every track a bit like 'Mildred Pierce':

My band is, of course, Thrash of the Titans.

Our album is Gehlenite.

Given those two things, I can't quite believe that the first track on our album is Rebecca Howe, but it would seem that is the case.

Then there's:

2. Foraminotomy (which seems more likely)
3. Çamoluk
4. LineWars II
5. Greater Kestrel

It's a short album. I don't think we're a very good band.
