Listen in, listen Ian!
1 and looking at the exhibition of sports photos they have on there at the moment, and found a nice sandwich shop in Hay's Galleria. Oh, and I found the underground tunnel that emmazon told me about that comes out at 1 London Bridge, although that's less exciting than it sounds.I don't seem to have updated since Monday, which I think is because since then I've done absolutely nothing much. I went into the new office at London Bridge on Wednesday, which was marginally exciting. One end of the main open-plan office is all glass which looks onto the river, but obviously all the partners have bagged the desks at that end of the building. I was a bit disappointed that Borough Market isn't open on Wednesdays, but there's still plenty to do one day a week at lunchtime round there - I wandered along the river between Tower and London Bridges, bird-spotting|
I went out to eat at Ed's Diner on Thursday. The food was a bit meh(due to undercooked chips mostly) and only seems to have claimed one victim, but the company was all good so mustn't grumble.
Last night I made flying visits to two different celebration drinks in pubs, then came home, ate and crashed out on the sofa until about half past eleven. This made me stay awake until about half past two, but I had to get up earlyish today as a man from the water board was coming roud between 9 and 11 to investigate a suspected leak in the supply pipe to the house. With splendid efficiency he turned up early, and had cleared off again by quarter past so now I'm up and about at this ungodly hour, with nothing in particular to do. I could attempt to start clearing up the general mess, or I could go out and make full use of the day, or I could vegetate. It may or may not affect my decision that they've just said Bill Oddie's going to be on Saturday Kitchen.
1Grey wagtail, and glaucous gull since you ask.
Portions of this post first appeared in an attempted email post from work yesterday, which never showed up and probably will by about Thursday or something
Dwd, Bill Oddie.
*cup of hot chocolate*
Jade cafe (entrances in Borough Market and Borough High Street) is ace for lunches round there. Mounds of pasta, and the best roast beef sandwiches ever.

Hey, that's near where I live/work — we should meet up for lunch some time. There are a couple of gastropubs on Bermondsey Street that I want to try.
Thanks for coming along on Friday and sorry I didn't really get to talk to you. Hopefully we'll get a bit more chatting in at the next poker night. :)
