You fail......AT LIFE! [Jan. 29th, 2008|12:42 pm]
Listen in, listen Ian!
So, I was booked in at midday to do the first of the three exams I'm supposed to do to get the IAQ qualification. I turned up at the exam centre in plenty of time to tell them that I didn't realise I was supposed to bring my passport or driving license, because nobody told me I needed them. No matter, they let me reschedule for 3.30 this afternoon, so I thought I'd go home, pick up my passport, come back to the office, do some work, go and sit the exam again. It's a good job I checked to see if I had my keys before I set off home, because not doing that would have been really annoying. Now I'm back at the office, I'll do some work, go home, go to the exam come back here, do some work and stay a bit late to make up for all the chasing round London.

Do you have to show ID for pretty much any exam at all these days? I don't know, I've not done one for nearly 15 years. Oh well, the trip home and back will give me extra revision time.

I will definitely have to show ID for my exams - there's stringent instructions and warning that if you don't have it, you CAN'T reschedule and you CAN'T sit them without it!

yeah birkbeck were the same (although actually, totally didn't check it on the day iirc)

i guess it's different being a grown up rather than at school, where the teachers know who you are, or university where you'd almost certainly have student card as id...
