Shopping help [Feb. 27th, 2008|09:51 am]
Listen in, listen Ian!
My internet at home is broken, and I'm pretty sure it's because my flaky router/modem has finally given up the ghost, so I want to go and buy another one at lunchtime. Trouble is, I'm in the London Bridge office today, and the shops round here are pretty cr@ppy in general. There's a Ryman, which may or may not sell them, but even if they do they aren't going to be the keenest value. There seems to be a DixonsCurrys.digital diestupidshopnamedie a bit north of the river, which will certainly sell them but the value won't be much better. Anyone know of anywhere decent that I could get there and back to from the laughably named London Bridge City in an hour?

Sounds like a plan to me. Are you home tonight?

There's supposed to be a Maplins somewhere between London Bridge and Liverpool Street, though I couldn't find it last night (mind you it was probably closed). Where's the Rymans? I could do with some blank CDs.

If the other options aren't available, go home via Tottenham Court Road. The various Micro Anvika stores are open until 8pm.
