I have an animated gif I want to make into an lj icon. What Mac or Linux software can I use to resize it?

convert from the Imagemagick package might do it. Try "convert -resize 100x100 original.gif final.gif"

Graphic Converter. I have done that very thing with it.

You used to be able to do it in Image Ready. You presumably still can. Except in CS3 Image Ready is no more, and Photoshop won't open an animated gif with frames intact. You'd need Fireworks for that now. Thanks Adobe.

But yeah, Graphics Converter.
