Listen in, listen Ian!
My buzzer just buzzed, so I picked up the entryphone.

Voice: Hi there, it's Tricia from Foxtons.
Me: Who?
Voice: Tricia. I think I might have dialed the wrong number, is this number 6?
Me: No, it's number 2.

Foxtons, there.

In other news, when eDF (wanky capitalisation!) aren't busy putting up the price of my electricity, they're good enough to help me use less of it by sending me four free low energy bulbs. I've been round the house and the only room with an old fangled one now is the bathroom, on account of the fitting being flush to the twelve foot high ceiling. I can't even touch the ceiling when I stand on the side of the bath, so I've no chance of getting at it really. I just hope the bulb never goes while I live here. I can haz low energy iMac now pls?

i am working on my green credentials by virtue of being short. overhead light in bedroom has gone - need to bring ladder in and move bed to change it. this may happen in 5 years or so. hall light can't be reached even from top of ladder, so off it stays. i have the low energy bulbs, just too short to get them in anywhere. i fear the day the front room light goes. it's higher than all the rest.

I seem to remember one of your posts that said you were locked into a fixed rate contract. So in effect, one of the people putting up the price of my electricity bill is you.

Stop spending my money on Man U merchandise.

I did, but then I got another letter telling me that the price has gone up. I think one is for gas and one for electricity but I'm too feckless to check.

I've not spent a penny on anything that money goes to Manchester United from for three years.

Oh, I do - a man on the phone tried to sell me an AIG travel insurance policy a couple of years ago too, and sounded surprised when I turned it down for a slightly more expensive one.
