Ooh! [Jan. 23rd, 2009|07:40 pm]
Listen in, listen Ian!
I'm currently sorting through boxes of stuff, with the aim of getting rid of stuff, and I've just found the invoice for my current phone. It's dated at the end of August last year, which means the contract is up at the end of February, and I can get a new phone soon! Hooray! I thought it wasn't up for another couple of months.

I think I'll get an iPhone, but I'm open to persuasion if anyone has a particular phone recommendation. It'd have to be pretty whizzy though.

I like my Blackberry Pearl, their new one is a bit like an iPhone....I am led to believe, in that it has touch screen n'that.
That won't be much help to you I expect.

The BlackBerry Storm sounds like a right lemon. I would say iPhone or maybe whatever new Android phone is available.

Palm Pre looks like it *might* be good.

No point if you don't reply to texts :P

If you can put up with Windows Mobile, then I'd highly recommend the Samsung Omnia, which is their answer to the iPhone. The only negative I'd say is the touch-screen keyboard, but I've found it very simple to get up and running, and very effective for my (fairly basic) phone needs. Oh, and the camera on it is fantastic.
