Listen in, listen Ian!
This weekend was a good one. I spent Friday night doing the best thing to do on Friday night now that I'm old, which is to stay in watching the telly. Srsly, I'm uaully far too tired by Friday to do stuff these days. That's why they have decent telly on Friday.

On Saturday, I had a nice lie-in, then I left the house to buy a paper and came back, before watching internet streaming football all afternoon. In the evening I went to Don't Stop Moving in Camden and danced a load. I had to wait ages at Archway for a bus home in the freezing cold, which was nice. Someone somewhere else on the internet recently described Archway as "a giant outdoor Wetherspoons" which sounds about right.

Yesterday I went to the zoo with eyekiller which was excellent, as very few other people were mad enough to go to the zoo in the cold so it wasn't stupidly crowded. The best bit was when a baby monkey upended the water tray in his cage. Oh, and the sloth was a bit hyperactive. In the evening I cooked ribs for the superbowl.

I'm off out now to take photos of snow.

Ooh! What zoo? London Zoo? I've been wanting to see a baby monkey for months, and not going because I wasn't sure they'd have one...

Yes, London Zoo! It's about 8 months old now, but it's still clearly a baby, and it was hurtling around hyperactively yesterday while the grownups just sat around looking grumpy.

Was there in December, the Rainforest Lookout Biome thing where they've got the sloths is ace!

Have they got the tapirs out again yet? They weren't on show when we went, they'd not long since had a baby tapir.
