Listen in, listen Ian!
new style Apple keyboards any good? They look like an Oric Atmos keyboard. Are the |
It looks like it would be less useful at collecting toast crumbs, loose fluff and hair (and letting all the world see them through the transparent casing).
I prefer the trad ones - I got a Mac Mini on Friday and was thinking about it myself, but when I tried one that my colleague uses it didn't feel right at all!
But I did just buy a Mighty Mouse and it's great - first time I've had a wireless mouse! Technology, eh?

I'm not a big fan, but some people swear by them.
have I got one? If so I like it a lot, especially in wireless.
Way, way better than I thought it was going to be.
If it's the one I've got, it's excellent.
Dude, you mean an Oric-1 keyboard - the Atmos had proper keys </oricsaddo>
Oh! I have one of those. It's OK - more like a laptop keyboard than a "normal" keyboard, also you can rest the heels of your hands on your desk when typing which I'm sure must be good for RSI, or something. The sensation of not having to press down on the keys as much, and the lack of noise, takes some getting used to though. It's not BETTER, just DIFFERENT, but I'm not all that fussy about these things.
The way the USB thingys are set up is noticeably much better though (on the side of the keyboard rather than at the back where you have to fiddle to get at it).
I should imagine it'll be a lot easier to clean when it comes to dustin' time too, yes :)
I agree with all of this.
