I live in 1996! [May. 23rd, 2009|11:14 pm]
Listen in, listen Ian!
Bearing in mind that I have a shitty aerial, so all I can get is Channels 1-4, there are films on every channel at the moment. That's rubbish. There should at least be highlights of today's playoff final on ITV.

I was going to a party tonight, but I did my falling asleep and then waking up when it was too late to sensibly go out. Tsk. Still, hey, it's my birthday in 42 minutes! It's quite exciting - I've got four parcels and a few cards to open, that have had to get here by now because there's no post tomorrow. Do I open everything at midnight or wait until I've slept?

Cat news: Spike is mental. Last night I caught him eating a carrier bag - srsly - and then later on, after he'd been wrasslin' with Lynda I went to stroke him and he scratched my arm to buggery the little sod. Still, eh?

You have to save something until after you've slept! You should open just one thing at midnight and save the rest.

I live in 1996!

I've heard the third iteration of Life on Mars is going to be based on your life.

Happy birthday! I am really worried your GIANT cats will take over the earth.

Can I steal one?

Happy birthday!

And I'm sorry to tell you, but Spike is completely normal, for a cat.

Happy birthday! And on behalf of a friend and relatives of mine who are Middlesbrough fans, best of luck to Utd this afternoon.

He was probably registering advanced protest at Burnley winning promotion. Cats are psychic and stuff, aren't they?

In other news, happy birthday, miles too late. Hope you had a day of multiple good moments; and that if you visited a pub won at least £3 on the quiz machine.

I think you're hard on Burnley. If you think it's the least pleasant town in the country, I don't think you've ever been to Middlesbrough.

The birthday was excellent thanks. The best present I got was from Aston Villa.

Perhaps I'm biased because I've been to Burnley three times, but only to Middlesbrough twice. Although at Middlesbrough we didn't get escorted to the chip shop by two police horses (yes, really!) under the premise that people would realise that we weren't locals as our hair was too long...

In other news, I will concede that Middlesbrough is certainly something of a hellish place. We visited the Middlesbough Institue of Modern Art the last time we played there, and were comfortably the only people in the whole of the building.

In terms of regional perspective (hee hee hee), Newcastle are clearly far too big to go down...
