Listen in, listen Ian!
I've just been to Morrisons for lunch, and I saw the oldest woman ever. If you've read "Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator", you may remember the picture in that of one of Charlie's grandmothers after she had been liberally sprayed with Vita-Wonk and rendered several hundred years old. Well that was what this woman in Morrisons looks like.

Also: did anyone else have a Star Bird when they were little? I did and it was great. I shall have to look out for another one.

You know that you're in Rochdale don't you, when it's somebody's birthday in the office, they're buying cakes and when being asked what cake they'd like somebody says "Can I have a pie please?"

Ha, I'd go for the pie too.
Our placement student brought in a dozen cream cakes once - his birthday or soemthing. Only half our section is veggie and the other half is weird, so he actually had trouble getting rid of them.

I had a Starbird, though I didn't know what it was called. It must still be around somewhere, though with much childhood dribble on it.

And so on.

the oldest woman ever

Did she have super-blonde hair and scary red lipstick? If not, she's not the old woman who gets my train.
