Listen in, listen Ian!
This weekend I:

- Slept quite a lot
- Danced a bit
- Sung a bit
- Ate Chinese food
- Bought shoes
- Had a haircut

I didn't:

- Buy socks. Someone - perhaps eyekiller - had suggested somewhere to buy socks instead of M&S, whose socks now wear out after being worn about three times. Any and all sock-buying recommendations welcomed.

If you can brave the mob, go to Primark. Cheap socks, last well, definitely better value for money than M&S.

Most of the socks in our household are indeed black multipack socks from Primark, befitting of both gentlemen and ladies. They last remarkably well given the way my other half walks, he runs lesser socks into holes in one day.

Another vote for Primark socks. Better than they have any right to be. I'd avoid their bras though.

Paul gets his socks from Gap and they seem to last quite well. I can also confirm that they are also v comfy (I steal them from him quite a lot :))

Actually I recommended Next 'luxury' socks on account of them being soft and fluffy loveliness for your feet. They only last about a month though on account of being made of soft fluffiness. (or seriously about 6 months, which is v short considering my old socks used to last years).
