I'm on the train home before going to a work meeting tomorrow in Manchester. I kissed the train I was going to get because I got to Euston and then realised I'd left my suit in the office so I had to traipse back across London to get it. Now this one's delayed because it got caught behind a goods train for ages. How can that happen? Surely they knew this train was coming, couldn't they just hold the goods train for a few minutes? Selfish, yes, but the goods can't be that time critical, surely? They wouldn't put them on a fucking train if they were. |
