Listen in, listen Ian!
I'm getting sad reading about everyone's Edinburgh adventures, as I'm not there this year, and have no prospect of getting there due to no money and no prospect of suddenly finding any down the back of the sofa. Still, it's my own fault that I've got no money, it's from going to festivals and going to Chicago earlier in the year. So don't feel sorry for me or anything. Oh, what do you mean you weren't doing anyway?|
Not to worry, because while Edinburgh's happening, The Camden Fringe has also been happening. I've not been to anything yet, but I do want to go and see The Trap's new show. I'm looking at going on the Saturday or the Sunday, either's good really. Anyone interested? shewho, did you say you wanted to see this too?
Thing is, for 1 month there's lots going on in Edinburgh. The rest of the year, it's going on in London.
If you can see Daniel Kitson's play (The Interminal suicide of gregory church) you have to, its wonderful.
I saw a preview of Gregory Church, and yes, it was excellent. I also saw a preview of his stand up show, but it wasn't really because he hadn't written it at all yet so he just rambled a bit for a couple of hours. Which was great, to be fair.
(i assume this is similar to the one they did at hen & chickens the other month?)
i *might* be tempted by the sunday, i'm sure there's something on, but there's nothing on my calendar...
Are either Lee or Herring doing any London dates after Edinburgh is over? I would like to see either of them.
nothing on herring's gig list yet, although it was february before headmaster's son got to london last time.
poo-art wee is 7 dec - 17 jan (apart from the odd day) at leicester sq theatre
Booo, how dare they want some time off. I demand London dates instantly.
ha! lee is doing like two months solid of provincial dates before that, not sure about herring, maybe he just hasn't put the dates up yet.
I'd like to see them both when they do roll into town, so we can come back to that then.
oooh yes, definitely up for the trap. saturday or sunday, no difference. i've got midnight kitson on the saturday but plenty of time in between!
Oh no I always forget about Edinburgh! I would really want to go but never think about booking it in advance. Making plans for next year now thx
I could be up for seeing the Trap.
