Listen in, listen Ian!
Isn't the telly on Friday night supposed to be good? It's fucking terrible tonight.|
I can't watch either as I now have to go and visit my sister. Bah.
I don't have Sky, so I can't watch the cricket. And it's nearly finished anyway!
And there doesn't seem to be any athletics taking place because of a bit of a shower. Soft lot.
Well there was definitely some athletics later on, from what I can gather. And quite exciting it got, too. And the Yanks were disqualified from the relay. Always makes me laugh, that does!
Were they? I saw the race, but I didn't see much of the surrounding stuff because I was running between the lounge and the kitchen. What happened, bad changeover?
I have mixed feelings, because it gives GB a chance, but I'd have liked to see Bolt run again this weekend.
According to the BBC website, one of the changeovers was outside the lines, although it also says they ran out of their lane. Apparently the GB team protested and got them disqualifed. Hahaha!
And you will see Bolt run again, because he's Jamaican and their team (without him and Powell, who were being rested) got through.
I don't think I'll see any of it, which is a shame.
Yes, of course he is. Duh. I wonder how the hell I forgot that?
Yeah I suppose so. It's not the same though!
Yeah, it is nice to settle in and have tv shows thrown at you with no effort of decision other than occasional channel surfing. Still, summer is over, so saturday night tv should start getting good ;-)
Friday's usually been weak, hasn't it? We're all supposed to be down the pub. You know, the ones that closed a month ago coz nobody goes there. Coz the beer's hsti.
Talking of which, I have the boxset of Early Doors here...
You're not wrong. I spent part of the evening watching DVD's of Garth Marenghi's Darkplace and the first season of The IT Crowd.
