Listen in, listen Ian!
"1016 - Danish prince Canute was elected King of England."

That's better. I'm suspicious that they can pinpoint the date, but at least it's an actual propoer event.

Anyway, I had a dream. I was going somewhere on the London underground, but I don't think I knew where. I had to get on the District Line, which had been renamed the New York Line. The train went at a breakneck speed, and had to keep swerving to avoid obstacles on the track.

When I got off the train, I remembered where I was going - the FA Cup Final! It was being held at Preston's brand new state-of-the-art stadium, but I couldn't find anywhere to buy a programme. I bumped into one of my match-going friends, and he said he could get me one, but first he hacked into the bank account of the company I used to work for, and transferred £25 into my account. Result! Then we went off to see Paul Daniels in the flat where he was staying during the Edinburgh Festival to see if he had a programme. He didn't, but I found a stall selling them in the end. I didn't buy one though, I had a burger instead.

Also there were very few Millwall fans there. Maybe 100. You could tell, because nobody jumped up when they scored an early goal which was disallowed for a foul on the goalkeeper.

Analysing your dream would indicate that you've missed something in your life from your old job and need to "get with the programme" (said in an authentic American accent, possibly with a hand gesture, I don't know).
