Things! [Apr. 28th, 2004|10:18 pm]
Listen in, listen Ian!
As I was driving down the M60 tonight I decided to go to the Trafford Centre on a whim("that's funny - I usually go on a bus - Hahahahah.." WHACK!). Anyway, I managed to come out of Walter Harold Smith's £38.86 poorer, but with an assortment of fourteen assorted books, DVDs and games that I didn't go in with. Mostly travel guides for places I may ever go to for £1.99 each, which are always good to read. A couple of Doctor Who DVDs for £3.99 each as well. For this I thank my friend Ross, DVD buyer for Smith's, for his over optimism about how many of the things they would sell.

After getting this spending out of my system, I managed to resist the 3 for £20 offer in HMV, despite the temptation of such obvious quality items as "Kung Pow - from the director of Ace ventura - When Nature Calls". I did have to get The Best of Morrissey from Music Zone for £4.97.

Gah. All this unfettered commercialism. I'm the worst socialist evur. But most of them were items probably sold at a loss. See how I smash the system from within!
