Listen in, listen Ian!
What's a good proper Italian pizza place in the West End that it would be easy to get a table for two at early on a Thursday evening without having booked?

I have a soft spot for Icco on Goodge St. The pizza is good, but it's not somewhere to cozily linger over a bottle of wine - more like a student canteen.

Also known as the Italian Coffee Co. for some random reason, but yes this is very much a good spot for a cheap pizza but not for a date by any means! Much better would be the Trattoria Mondello nearby on Goodge St, which is also cheap and cosy tho I can't attest to their pizza (it's more generic Italian).
