Listen in, listen Ian!
Who's in M and S|
Buying Champagne and butter?
It's Sanjeev Bhaskar!
I've been gadding about a bit. The weekend before this one just past I went to Latitude. It was good, but not as good as other Latitudes. Still, that sort of thing's going to happen when you sell 10,000 extra tickets but don't bother having any extra facilities isn't it?
This weekend just gone I was at Indietracks, which was excellent in every way, with friendly people, grate bands, an excellent curry stall, real toilets and the Red Cross. The latter was important when I got something on my eye while I was on a train ride on Saturday morning, and they managed to flush it out, allowing my eye to stop being all red and weepy.
Because of my gratitude to them, I just tried to make a donation to them on their website but my card was declined twice, followed by HSBC calling me to run through my recent transactions to check if they were all valid. Wonder what brought that on? Could it be because two of them were to Hungry House on consecutive nights last week? Yeah, well, what of it? Anyway, he reactivated my card and now I can donate to the Red Cross again.
I'm in London for two whole weeks now before going to Edinburgh. Catch me while you can. If you want to.
